Looking for a way to help schools receive the newspaper in their classrooms?
Newspapers in Education (NIE) would like to invite schools, teachers,
organizations and community members to donate ink cartridges to help
earn funds to support our program in Central Texas schools.
Help provide newspapers and educational tools to area classrooms by
dropping off your used printer cartridges to the Killeen Daily Herald
location at 1809 Florence Road, Killeen, or our Copperas Cove
location in the Cove Terrace Shopping Center. Schools may also
provide ink cartridge drop off locations, so check with your
students' school to see if they are participating in our ink
cartridge recycling drive.
Accepted cartridges include the following:
HP, Lexmark, Dell, Canon and Sharp
